Training is the key to Success!
The Volunteer Centre offers several low cost training courses through out the year.
For training to have the greatest impact, it should be delivered in the topics that are most important for the sector. We have identified a range of topics below, that are proven to be of value to the voluntary and community sectors.
Some of the topics are required or strongly advised for any organisation to run efficiently. Other areas aim to use training to enhance the quality of service your organisation offers, for example using new technology, social media or actively marketing your organisation to attract funders.
Different Training that has been offered includes
- Health and Safety
- First Aid Training
- Managing your Organisation
- Working with Children, Young People and Families
- Working with Older People
- Social Media and Websites
