Gift Aid:

Under the Gift Aid scheme, when a UK resident and taxpayer makes a donation to a registered charity, the charity can reclaim from the Inland Revenue the tax which has been paid on the income used to finance the donation. This increases the value of the donation by about 28% at no cost to you

By completing the Gift Aid section on the donation form, you are confirming that you wish us to treat your donation as a Gift Aid donation. You are also confirming that you have paid UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the we will reclaim on this donation.

Why does the Centre need donations?

In order to provide its services to the community, the Centre receives welcome financial assistance and help in kind from its sponsors. However, we always need additional funds which have to be raised from various fundraising activities as well as from private donations and gifts.

If you can manage a contribution, however small, towards our activities, you can be sure that it will be used in a cost effective way towards providing valued services for local people.

Click here to view a printable donation form. After it appears, just click the 'Print' button on your browser to print out a copy, then click the 'Back' button to return to this page.

Do you use Gift Aid?

Indeed we do. Gift Aid is a wonderful way of increasing the value of your donation at no cost to yourself, provided that you are a UK taxpayer. See the panel on the left of the screen for more information.
